When one thing dies, another is born.

I came across this tree stump while wandering the off road trails at Cornell. It reminded me how nothing is ever truly over. When one thing ends, another begins.

Sometimes we must chop down the old in order to let something new and beautiful find a place to thrive.


In Search of Cute Animals

Watching that sneezing panda video and others like it has surely added a needed smile to many of my days so I’m determined to find and capture my own “Cute Animal” videos to share with you.  In the last week, it’s been harder than I thought to find the proverbial  butterfly landing on a cows nose at the precise moment my video camera is on and in focus, but I’m gonna keep trying. Introducing “Confused Squirrel”






In an Instinct

Driving north on the 505 freeway from Berkeley towards Oregon, were passing  through quite a bit of farm land filled with orchards and acres of produce when we came upon these sunflower fields. I had to pull the van to the side of the road in a screeching (but safe) stop to get this photo. Read more
